Kruger Swazi Wild Life - 7 nights/8 days
Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg Airport and transfer to Balalaika Protea Hotel. Afternoon at leisure in the City of Gold.
Day 2 After breakfast enjoy a half day City and Soweto Tour including one of Mandela's homes and the historical Golf Reef City. In the Sowetonian South Western Township you can visit a shebeen and sip home brewed African beer and sample an exotic cuisine. Afternoon at leisure and overnight at Balalaika Hotel.
Day 3 Journey through the Mpumalanga Province via Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window to Hazyview The scenery is unsurpassed and the Overnight Hazeyview.
| Day 4 Kruger Park awaits you and enjoy a safari in search of the "Big Five" and explore the untamed wilderness. You may decide to spend only part of the day in search of the wild life and the rest playing nine holes at Greenway Woods - the choice is yours. Overnight Hazyview. |  |
Day 5 Travel through Kruger National Park to exit at Malelane Gate. Journey down into the Kingdom of Swaziland via Piggs Peak. A chance to take in Swazilands' views of the Piggs Peak Mountains and possibly try your luck in the luxury casino. Overnight Piggs Peak.
Day 6 Depart Piggs Peak to Zululand and the DumaZulu village in the heart of Hluhluwe. Lunch and a cultural interlude with the village tribesmen. A chance to learn about the Zulu culture and traditions firsthand.

Day 7 At dawn we enter the Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve with its 84 different mammal species and 425 variety of bird species. This is home to the "Big 5" as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, spotted hyena and wild dog. Enjoy lunch at the Hilltop camp with unsurpassed views of the reserve. Overnight DumaZulu. |
Day 8 Leave DumaZulu after breakfast for the St Lucia Estuary with a boat cruise down the estuary to spot the hippo, and crocodiles basking on the banks. The cry of the fish eagle will make you realize you are in the heart of South Africa. After lunch we head back to Durban Airport to bring a close to your brief but unparalleled interlude with Africa.
