The "Big 5" Wildlife Tour - 1 night/2 days
Day 1 You will
be picked up from your hotel and travel North from Durban through the
rolling hills of Zululand to the Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park founded
in 1895, it is one of the largest game reserves in South Africa covering
96,000 hectares, renowned for its wide variety of animal and bird life,
including the "Big Five". Arrive in time for a morning game drive and
then enjoy a lunch at the Hilltop Restaurant set high upon a hill offering
unsurpassed views of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Continue on for more game
viewing of Elephants, giraffe, rhino and many more interesting species
home to the Hluhluwe/Umfolzi game reserve.

16h00 Transfer to Dumazulu and check in. Have some time to freshen up and explore the traditional village, meet in the Boma for drinks around a camp fire before dinner and be treated to the sights and sounds of real African culture with Zulu dancers. |

Day 2 After a lovely morning breakfast enjoy an authentic cultural show and tales of bygone years. After check out you. Depart for the beautiful St Lucia with its abundant wild life and an interesting cruise of the St Lucia Estuary where you will see plenty of hippos and crocodiles. Continue on to have lunch at the Quarterdeck restaurant in St Lucia and after enjoying two days of South Africa's sunshine and wild life take a leisurely drive south bound to arrive back in Durban late afternoon.Meals are included but alcoholic beverages and items listed SQ are for the Clients account |
