Drakensberg Experience- Experiencing the Epic Beauty of Drakensberg, South Africa

Travel through the Natal Midlands area to the foothills of the Drakensburg Mountains. At 09:00 transfer to a 4×4 in Himeville and begin your journey up the Sani Pass into the Kingdom of Lesotho. Visit a Sotho village and experience the unsurpassed views of the Drakensburg. Enjoy lunch at the highest pub in Africa!

2 Days – 1 Night

Day 1: Travel through the Natal Midlands area to the foothills of the Drakensburg Mountains. At 09h00 transfer to a 4×4 in Himeville and begin your journey up the Sani Pass into the Kingdom of Lesotho. Visit a Sotho village and experience the unsurpassed views of the Drakensburg. Enjoy lunch at the highest pub in Africa! Overnight Sani Pass or alternative if weather not permitting.

Day 2: Return on a Midlands Meander towards Durban stopping off at a variety of weavers, potters, galleries and craft shops. A chance to browse at the Switzerland Goats Cheese farm. Bypass Mandela’s Monument en route to the Howick falls and enjoy a lunch savouring the Midlands fresh air.
