The KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board, established in 1952 as the Natal Anti-Shark Measures Board, is an organisation that looks after the marine environment of KwaZulu-Natal Province, South Africa. It is responsible for running a shark control program which is aimed at reducing the risk of attacks by sharks through various measures such as netting and drumlining.

Umgeni Bird Park welcomes visitors every day from 9am to 4pm, with the last entry being at 3pm. From Tuesday to Sunday, the park hosts its Free-flight Bird Show twice a day at 11am and 2pm. However, please bear in mind that the shows are weather permitting and may be cancelled or shortened due to strong winds or rain.
