Take to the country to explore, browse and indulge. The Midlands Meander offers Art studios, country hotels, tea gardens, pottery, weaving workshops and wine barns. Travel via the spectacular Howick Falls. And brows at Nogqaza Crafts, Thabo’s Antiques and Mandela’s Monument. Going North through Lions River you stop off at Rawdon’s Hotel for a beautiful buffet lunch. En route to Durban stop over at Swissland Cheese for a 3.30 pm cheese show and then on to Millgate Glass studio which offers a colourful selection of stained glass, pewter, wrought iron, hand knits and original collectables typical of this wonderful  Midlands Meander.
